ZACollective Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy:

Easy to read version:

Please read the full terms below. To simplify things, here are a few bullet points to understand our privacy policy and how we handle data.

  • Most of what we do is automated. All the data you see on The ZACollective YouTube Directory and The ZACollective Twitch Streamer Directory is data that is publically accessible already. No private information is stored, shown or shared, unless explicitly stated and requested and permission is granted. Requests for users appearing on this list have been manually approved. Anyone can submit a request for themselves or somebody else to be added. This site was created completely for free public use, using free public data to help promote South African creators.
  • We don't have a login system nor do we use personalised adverts, so we don't explicitly use cookies, although third-party plugins or scripts may create, collect and use cookies as they see fit, such as Google Analytics.
  • We provide this service free of charge. Currently, we do not monetize the site via ads.
  • The goal is to help South African creators find others to collaborate with, viewers to find new content and brands or companies to find personalities they might be interested in. The site tries not to include large brands or companies in the list to promote individual creators.
  • Applications to be added are sent via e-mail to the site's administrator, where they can be approved or denied. We don't send responses for everything, so make sure to check back to see if you were added or not. We try to keep actual creators in, and channels with 'one video from a year ago' out.
  • This informal section should help. See below for the more "legal" version, but nothing surprising should appear there if you've already seen this section.
